Description:

The Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Contexts of Health provides a broad contextual lens with which to understand the complex problems behind health disparities. Students in the major learn to analyze contextual factors, become grounded in a variety of disciplinary perspectives and can apply what they have learned to specific health problems through a critical analysis course and research methods/thesis sequence. Graduates with this degree will be competitive applicants for clinical programs in applied fields such as medicine, dentistry, occupational therapy, nursing, and pharmacy, as well as health policy and public health.

The median wage is the wage at which half the workers in an occupation earned more than that amount and half earned less.
